Synopsis

In the most general sense, organizational behavior is the branch of science that examines the behavior of people, who are social beings, in their work life. The most important elements of organizations in adapting to the developing and changing competitive environment, and continuing their existence are undoubtedly their employees. While organizations achieve their goals through their employees, they also gain the power to compete with their competitors and continue their existence. For this reason, it is important to define, explain, and direct the behavior of employees in their work life towards the determined goals.

On the other hand, employees play a major role in organizations being able to respond to the expectations of the ever-changing environment. As a result of the research conducted, new concepts are emerging regarding human behavior in the work environment. It is important to explain these new concepts in order to understand employees and adapt to the changing external environment. Our book covers relatively new concepts and topics in the field of organizational behavior. Current topics are examined in terms of conceptual, scope, and dimensions, and examples are given about the studies conducted on the subject. It is thought that the book will contribute to the organizational behavior literature within the framework of the topics covered.
