Synopsis

Communication is a dynamic field that has existed and developed throughout human history. In today's rapidly changing world, communication forms, tools and the social effects of these processes are also in a constant transformation. In this context, this work titled "Current Debates in Communication Studies" invites the reader to a rich intellectual journey by focusing on the most complicated and interesting areas of the discipline of communication sciences.

This book deeply examines the issues that have emerged recently in communication studies and are hotly debated in the academic community. A wide range of current discussions are examined, from the effects of digitalization on communication practices to the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence, from new media ecologies to the communication strategies of social movements. Each chapter has been meticulously written by academics who are experts in their fields, and aims to evaluate the subject from different perspectives and present a critical perspective.

Our aim is for this work to be a comprehensive reference source for undergraduate and graduate students, academics and researchers interested in communication studies, as well as to open doors to new ideas and pave the way for further research and discussion.
