Synopsis

Muzaffer Uslu is an oud composer who has produced important works of Turkish music. He has worked as a lecturer at the Turkish Music State Conservatory, Gaziantep University for many years and trained instrumental and vocal artists and music teachers in his hometown of Gaziantep. His works have been awarded in various composition competitions. He has been a choir conductor as well as an educator for many years. He has become popular for his oud and voice performances and his compositions. In addition to his music, Muzaffer Uslu draws attention with his kindness that is seen by everyone around him. He is an educator who tries to be useful to everyone without breaking anyone's heart or turning away anyone who comes to his door. He has works in forms such as songs, folk songs and hymns in various makams and usûls. Uslu's life and works are included in this book in which you can find his determination to work, his love for music, and his life experiences that will inspire readers. His works included in the book are his poems and notes of his compositions. In addition, the opinions of Uslu’s family and colleagues about him and some memorable photographs are presented. Apart from being about the life and works of a composer, this book will be a source of inspiration for anyone interested in music. As a matter of fact, the book also includes Uslu's opinions as advice to young people who study music, or who are interested in music. It is also of great importance in terms of bringing together Uslu's compositions. Uslu is still working as an educator and continues to create compositions.
