Variety and Transformation in Entrepreneurship: Corporate, Social, Cultural, and Technological Perspectives.
Synopsis
Technology-based entrepreneurship is defined as the emergence of a business idea with an innovative perspective together with technology, or the updating and transformation of existing goods and services through technology. Entrepreneurship, in its simplest form, is a business idea put into action. The fact that the world of science presents us with new inventions every day has made the integration of technology and entrepreneurship inevitable. This necessity has contributed to the emergence of technology-based entrepreneurship. One of the best examples of technology-based entrepreneurship in Türkiye is technoparks, which are established through university collaborations. Technoparks not only provide opportunities for technology-based entrepreneurs but also contribute positively to the national economy. Globally, one of the most widely recognized technology-oriented entrepreneurial approaches in recent years has been start-ups. With their fast, dynamic, and practical structures, start-ups stand out today as entrepreneurial activities where technology takes center stage. Today, it is possible to encounter and exemplify many technology-based entrepreneurial activities both in Türkiye and around the world.
