Synopsis

This section comprehensively addresses the concept of sustainable human resources, evaluating the green transformation process from the perspective of people-centred strategies. Today's rapid changes and transformations have made sustainability a paradigm that integrates people, the environment, and the business ecosystem for organisations. In this context, the study examines sustainable human resources management in all its aspects, focusing on strategies that emphasise people in the green transformation process. The main objective of the study is to provide a projection of the dynamics that increase employees' environmental awareness and nurture the organisation's green culture within the framework of human resources management. The green transition can only be realised in a lasting and effective manner with the active and voluntary participation of the human factor in this process. Therefore, the research concludes that redefining the human resources management mechanism, which is the most important communication tool between the organisation and its employees, from a sustainability perspective can only be achieved through strategies that place people at the centre.
