Synopsis

Digital transformation and virtual organisations have become fundamental elements of the contemporary business world. While digital transformation refers to the process by which organisations restructure their business models by adopting technological innovations, virtual organisations emerge as a concrete product of this transformation. This process requires not only updating the technological infrastructure but also redesigning the organisational culture, business processes and customer interactions. As one of the examples of this transformation, virtual organisations stand out as structures that are independent of traditional office structures, overcome geographical limitations and adopt flexible working models. The symbiotic relationship between digital transformation and virtual organisations offers significant advantages such as flexibility, efficiency and global reach in the modern business world. The symbiotic relationship between digital transformation and virtual organisations transforms traditional business models, allowing organisations to operate more flexibly, efficiently and on a global scale. While the widespread use of digital technologies accelerates the formation of virtual organisations, virtual organisations contribute to the acceleration and deepening of digital transformation. Virtual organisations overcome geographical limitations and allow the workforce to be distributed on a global scale. This structure allows organisations to bring together talented employees from different time zones and locations. This flexibility allows organisations to reduce operational costs, optimise business processes and respond quickly to market changes. It also offers significant benefits for employees in terms of work-life balance, time management and career opportunities. By eliminating the constraints of the traditional office environment, virtual organisations offer the opportunity to benefit from a global labour pool and gain competitive advantage.
