Synopsis

Green exercise encompasses physical activities performed by individuals in natural environments and is considered an effective tool in combating stress, physical inactivity, and mental fatigue associated with modern life. This section examines the role of green exercise in a recreational context, its psychological and physiological effects, and its implications for individual well-being and public health. By integrating exercise with nature, this approach produces multidimensional outcomes such as enhanced motivation, subjective well-being, cognitive performance, and stress management. Moreover, it strengthens environmental awareness in connection with sustainable lifestyles. In this regard, green exercise is not merely a type of physical activity but also a holistic practice that combines health promotion with environmental consciousness.
