Synopsis

Urbanization, intense work tempo and technological dependency brought about by modern life limit individuals' interactions with the natural environment and cause psychological problems such as stress, anxiety and burnout to increase. Outdoor recreation stands out as a tool that supports the physical and mental health of individuals, including activities such as nature-based walking, camping, cycling, nature sports and meditation.

The result of this research, which examines the effects of recreational activities carried out in open spaces on the psychological well-being of individuals; It has been determined that activities such as walking, camping and nature sports in the natural environment reduce the stress levels of individuals and increase their mental renewal.
