Synopsis
As is well known, recreational activities play a multifaceted role in improving individuals' quality of life. Regular participation in recreational activities increases life satisfaction, strengthens social interactions, and supports self-efficacy across a wide range of age groups, from the elderly to children, from individuals with special needs to university students. Furthermore, socioeconomic status, environmental conditions, and accessibility are important factors shaping the effects of recreational sports. In this context, recreational activities are considered a strategic tool for improving not only individual health and happiness but also societal well-being.
This study, which examines the effects of recreational activities on life satisfaction, concludes that recreational activities are a powerful and multifaceted tool for increasing individuals' life satisfaction.
