Synopsis
In today's international relations, as trade and intercultural communication become increasingly important, the business world is the processing of information and the use of services. Thus, both concepts are becoming important concepts that strengthen cultural communication between countries, remove economic borders, improve social development and internet-based ways of doing business in the business world. In this context, there is a need for digital leaders who use innovative methods to enhance the competitive power of companies in the business world and to promote the development of societies. With a new leadership style called digital leadership, digital leaders are expected to guide the organizations they work for towards innovative projects and make them suitable for the needs of the era. In addition to all this, digital leadership can also be explained not only by how well technology is used but also by the approach of managing change within the framework of renewal, creating a strategic vision, and setting goals. Digital leaders are responsible for creating a work environment that fosters the emergence of creative and innovative ideas as a necessity of digitalization and for developing a management approach that adds value. As a result, digital leaders focus on implementing a management process where communication among employees is facilitated, tasks are completed quickly, and goals are achieved according to expectations in environments suitable for digital transformation. In this context, digital leaders aim to create a learning culture that supports the development of employees in the places where they work.
In this study, we will focus on what digital leadership is, which of its characteristics need to be developed, and how the importance of this leadership in their respective environments should be explained. Additionally, the evaluation of the impacts of digital leadership practices on the leadership structure in individuals and organizational frameworks will be conducted. In addition, this section will emphasize the key competency areas and responsibilities of digital leadership.
At the same time, this study aims to provide an in-depth examination of digital leadership and thereby contribute to new research.
