Synopsis

This study examines the effects of strategies on athletic identity during adolescence by addressing the developmental processes of young athletes in their physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and emotional dimensions. Adolescence is defined as the most sensitive stage in a person's transition from childhood to adulthood, and the role of sport in the formation of self-confidence, self-esteem, and social bonds during this process is emphasized. The concept of psychological resilience, which constitutes a key point of the study, is theoretically explained in terms of coping with stress, self-confidence, motivation, and depression skills. In particular, strategic methods aimed at ensuring the continuity of athletes' performance and mental health are analyzed using the Positive Youth Development (5Cs), Self-Determination Theory, Stress-Resilience Training, Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD), and Socio-Ecological Resilience models used in modern sports management.
