Theoretical and Practical Research in Tourism - I
Synopsis
Tourism, which occupies an important place in the understanding of the global economy and social life, encompasses a broad population to which different meanings are attributed by different dynamics. It is seen as a source of income for business operators, a means of rest or entertainment for consumers, a political power for states, and a tool for socialization for local communities. At the global level, this multidimensional nature positions tourism in an interdisciplinary space both theoretically and practically. Therefore, tourism offers a broad field of study that is highly detailed in each of its components and closely associated with other disciplines.
The book Theoretical and Practical Research in Tourism – 1 has been written with the aim of providing theoretical and practical suggestions to tourism science and the tourism sector. The book includes studies that address many topics ranging from tourism economics and sustainability to smart tourism and local development. Each chapter in the book is independent of the others and has been prepared to offer solutions to different fields or problems.
Like every study put forward, this book has been prepared with the hope of contributing to the scientific community and sectoral dynamics.
