Synopsis

This study aims to examine the relationship between usability, accessibility, and inclusivity in the design of digital learning environments within the framework of a user-centered design approach. The effectiveness of digital learning platforms, online course environments, and student information systems is considered in light of user interaction processes, diverse user needs, and universal design principles. Based on a literature review, the research reveals that usability is not merely a technical quality criterion; it also gains a pedagogical and ethical dimension when integrated with accessibility and inclusivity. The findings show that systems that disregard accessibility principles limit user experience, while inclusive design approaches increase user satisfaction and participation in the learning process. In this context, it is concluded that the user-centered design process plays a critical role in ensuring the sustainability of digital learning environments and providing equal learning opportunities. The study emphasizes the need to adopt holistic and user-oriented approaches in the design of educational technologies.
