Synopsis

The tourism sector is a constantly transforming and evolving structure influenced by global economic, technological, and social changes. The acceleration of digitalization processes, the centrality of sustainability in tourism policies, the increase in experience-oriented consumption trends, and the widespread adoption of smart tourism applications necessitate a reassessment of both academic studies and sectoral practices in the field of tourism. This dynamic structure makes it imperative for tourism research to maintain its relevance and to be addressed with multi-dimensional approaches drawing from different disciplines. This work, resulting from the valuable contributions of expert academics in the field, aims to deepen current discussions in tourism literature, encourage interdisciplinary perspectives, and strengthen interaction between academia and the sector. Furthermore, the book continues to serve as an important reference source for graduate students, researchers, and tourism sector professionals. On this occasion, we extend our sincere thanks to all the valuable chapter authors who contributed to the preparation of Current Research in Tourism II for their scientific efforts and dedicated work. We also express our gratitude to everyone who supported the preparation and publication process of this work. We hope that this study, entitled "Current Research in Tourism II," will provide new perspectives to academic research in the field of tourism, inspire researchers, and contribute to the sustainable development of the sector.
