Synopsis
This study examines the impact of digital transformation, sustainability, and ethical excellence principles on corporate quality within the halal tourism sector and explores potential global competitive strategies in this context. Halal tourism aims not only to provide services compliant with Islamic requirements but also to deliver a comprehensive travel experience that meets contemporary consumer expectations. Digitalization encompasses a wide range of applications in halal tourism, from personalizing customer experiences to enhancing operational efficiency. Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies offer personalized halal travel recommendations based on user preferences and provide services addressing religious needs such as prayer times and halal food availability. Moreover, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) applications enrich the experience, particularly for religious visits. However, in Halal Tourism, AI systems must be designed in accordance with ethical principles compliant with Islamic foundations; this necessitates transparency, accountability, and the mitigation of algorithmic biases. The sustainable growth of the sector depends on the adoption of technological innovations aligned with Islamic values. Accordingly, the development of international standards through collaboration among policymakers and industry stakeholders is paramount. This approach enables both the maximization of economic potential and the maintenance of trust and loyalty among Muslim travelers. In conclusion, the integrated application of digitalization, sustainability, and ethical values plays a decisive role in enhancing corporate quality and increasing competitiveness in halal tourism. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and industry practitioners within this framework.
