Synopsis

The rapid and continuous change and transformation of technology leads to changes and transformations not only in business life but also in people's lifestyles, skills, personality traits, and established communications. These changes in technology have become a frequently used method, especially in economy, management, organizational strategies, and plans. Thanks to this digitalization, businesses see that work is done faster and with fewer errors in organizational work, organizational resources are used more effectively and efficiently, business processes are facilitated with the technologies used, and software and hardware elements are used more actively. With these technologies used, they have begun to be used not only in production processes but also in the addition and use of systems such as artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, augmented and virtual reality, the internet of things, large databases, cybersecurity, data mining, hyperlink hacker and social media to business processes and in the development of new business models.

In the digital age, businesses must follow this development closely in order to continue their existence and make a profit. These technological developments and digitalization used in production and business organizations also cause changes in leadership styles. Digital leadership, which is born of technology and digitalization, is a leader who is open to technological developments, has high technical skills, prioritizes digitalization, believes in team spirit, makes transactions easy and fast through digital technologies, tries new approaches, is open to development, is focused on the future, and loves risk. Digital leaders care about the ideas of other individuals in the organization, mentor and support them to develop their ideas. These leaders struggle by combining technological developments with the human factor, both maintaining their existence and gaining a competitive advantage. Businesses use their resources more effectively and efficiently with both digital technologies and the concept of digital leadership.
