Synopsis

For many years, human resources management was built on the foundation of finding and acquiring the best talent for the organization. However, evolving workforce dynamics, recruitment conditions, and work environments have shown that this approach is no longer sufficient. Today, successful organizations focus more on employee retention than recruitment; on employee satisfaction and experience rather than rigid job descriptions; and on personal development and quality of life instead of control. In this section, we will explore this paradigm shift in human capital management, how employee satisfaction and engagement can be enhanced, why a learning culture is essential, and how employee quality of life can be improved. This section evaluates the paradigm shift in human resource management, explores strategies for enhancing employee satisfaction and organizational commitment, and highlights the importance of a learning culture and the role of employee well-being in organizational development.
