Synopsis
This study aims to analyze the transformation of the leadership phenomenon in the historical process within a conceptual framework. The concept of leadership has been defined and its evolution from the first period it emerged to the present day has been systematically presented based on the literature. The transformation in leadership has been addressed in the context of cause-effect relationships and the dynamics of change have been examined in this context. In line with the findings obtained, strategic inferences have been made for both public and private sector actors, and guiding suggestions have been developed for researchers who will conduct studies in the field.
