Synopsis
Women’s health, pregnancy, and newborn care are topics of critical importance in the human life cycle. These areas encompass dynamics that directly affect not only individual health but also public health. In this context, understanding the physical, psychological, and social needs that women experience from the pre-pregnancy stage through childbirth and the postpartum period is essential for providing effective care.
This work, titled Women’s Health, Pregnancy, and Newborn Care in Health Sciences, has been prepared with contributions from esteemed academics representing various disciplines within the health sciences.
The topics addressed through an interdisciplinary approach have been enriched with both theoretical and practical knowledge, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.
