Synopsis
Today, with the development of technology, it has been seen that traditional marketing applications do not fully meet the demands of consumers. Traditional marketing has begun to give way to digital marketing with the increase in internet access. Digital marketing contributes to brand loyalty by increasing the interaction between both businesses and consumers. In addition, it helps to increase customer satisfaction by including the demands from consumers in the process. Especially with the development of artificial intelligence technology, many applications have emerged in the field of digital marketing. With artificial intelligence applications, real-time, large amounts of data about customers are obtained and the necessary analyses are made. These analyzes enable businesses to understand consumers better and offer personalized products and services specific to them. In this way, generating customer leads become easier for businesses. In this study, artificial intelligence applications in the field of digital marketing are conceptually discussed. The aim of the study is to contribute to the literature on artificial intelligence-supported digital marketing applications and to shed light on future studies. In the study, information is given about the concepts of digital marketing and artificial intelligence, and the artificial intelligence applications used in marketing; chatbots, email marketing, customer behavior-focused marketing, enhanced advertising, automatic content generation, image recognition and personalization were mentioned.
