Digital Economy, Financial Markets, and Business Studies
Synopsis
This book consists of revised and expanded full-text versions of the abstracts presented at the International Conference on Digitalization, Business, Management, and Economics (ICDBME 2025). The conference brought together scholars from diverse disciplines, shedding light on rapidly evolving academic and applied fields such as digitalization, finance, sustainability, environmental policies, business management, and macroeconomic indicators.
The chapters included in this volume present original findings across a broad spectrum, ranging from the effects of digital technologies on economic structures to environmental sustainability, and from the dynamics of financial markets to business management practices. Among the topics addressed are the behavioral characteristics of cryptocurrency markets, the altcoin–Bitcoin relationship, the impact of digitalization on informality and income inequality, the performance of environmental technologies in OECD countries, and the causal relationship between economic uncertainty and financial returns, offering both theoretical and empirical contributions. In addition, the book features studies that provide valuable insights for policymakers and practitioners at both micro and macro levels, covering issues such as corporate finance, working capital management, financial literacy, digital literacy, competitiveness performance, and investor behavior.
These contributions, which enhance the scientific quality of the ICDBME conference, not only enrich the academic literature but also generate important policy implications for businesses, economies, and societies under changing global conditions. We would like to sincerely thank all authors who meticulously developed their papers, the reviewers who contributed to the scientific evaluation process, and everyone involved in the preparation of this volume.
It is our hope that this book will offer new perspectives to academic debates at the intersection of digitalization and economics and serve as an inspiring resource for researchers.
