Communication, one of humanity's most fundamental needs, is the most important network connecting individuals and societies. In today's world, where we witness rapid technological advancements, communication has diversified from digital platforms to AI-powered messaging, encompassing every aspect of our lives. This diversity in communication, however, has also brought about certain problems. The rapid nature of communication makes societies more susceptible to manipulation, while also potentially leading to cultural conflicts. It is precisely at this point that communication studies, an interdisciplinary field, comes into play, scientifically analyzing the communication processes, effects, and dynamics of individuals and societies. Communication studies encompasses a wide range of areas, from interpersonal relationships to mass communication, from nonverbal communication to digital media, seeking answers to questions in this field. In this book, which is the result of a collective effort, academics have examined the topics and problems in the field of communication studies. I would like to thank all my colleagues who contributed to this book for their valuable work.
