Synopsis

As societies’ health needs continue to evolve in parallel with the opportunities presented by the digital age, new paradigms and practices are emerging across a broad range of fields from nursing to public health, from environmental factors to digital applications. Within this context, the work titled "Public Health in the Age of Digital Transformation" has been designed as a comprehensive reference resource that captures the spirit of the era through a multidisciplinary lens.

Starting with the fundamental physiological principles of public health, the book holistically addresses nursing approaches to family, women’s, child, and adolescent health; environmental and occupational health risks; chronic diseases and elderly care; issues related to mental health and substance use; alternative and complementary medicine practices; disaster and emergency responses; big data and digital methods in nursing research; and, finally, exercise physiology. Each chapter has been authored by expert academics and field professionals, aiming to equip readers with both theoretical knowledge and practical insight.

Emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary knowledge sharing in the advancement of community health, this work aspires to serve as a guide for the healthcare field during the digital transformation process. We extend our gratitude to all contributing authors and collaborators, and we hope that this publication will make a valuable contribution to both the scientific literature and practical implementation.
