Synopsis

This book aims to address the contemporary transformation of microeconomics, integrating its theoretical foundations with current applications. While maintaining the analytical framework offered by traditional microeconomic models, the book includes field studies that challenge this framework and bring new perspectives to economics, such as behavioral economics, cognitive economics, experimental economics, and machine learning.

This work is intended as a resource, particularly for academics, graduate students, and researchers interested in modern microeconomics. Each chapter addresses a current topic in its field, aiming to contribute to the literature and inspire new research.
It is expected that this work will contribute to demonstrating that microeconomics is not limited to theoretical modeling; it is a contemporary field of analysis enriched by behavioral, experimental, and data-driven methods in explaining human behavior, market dynamics, and firm strategies.
