Synopsis

Entrepreneurship plays an important role in developing countries in terms of both employment and development. In today's entrepreneurial ecosystem, digitalization provides businesses with significant advantages in managing business processes and ensuring sustainable competitive advantage.

The purpose of this study is to examine the perceptions and attitudes of women entrepreneurs operating in Erzurum province towards adopting digital technologies and the factors that influence them. The research data was collected from 449 female entrepreneurs in Erzurum province using a face-to-face survey method. The data obtained was analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 package program.

According to the research findings, significant differences were found between the demographic characteristics of women entrepreneurs (age, education, etc.) and their levels of digital technology adoption. As a result, it was observed that the educational level and technological awareness of entrepreneurs are decisive factors in the adoption of digital technologies, and recommendations were developed to make improvements in this direction.
